Gyp Crete 2000®

Gyp-Crete 2000 is ideal for use over wood subfloors in single-family, light commercial and multi-family construction, as well as renovation projects. Gyp Crete 2000 is a lightweight product allowing more economic construction while providing UL fire ratings, and compressive strengths from 2000 psi to 3200 psi.

In addition, Gyp Crete 2000 provides inherent qualities not found in lightweight concrete. Unlike concrete, Gyp Crete 2000 will not shrink but expand to seal perimeter cracks, preventing sound transfer through separate units. Gyp Crete 2000 also allows for more ambitious scheduling with application rates of up to 25,000 square feet in a single day. The product can be walked on within 90 minutes of application and support light construction activity by the next day.
